February Fun

It's the 9th of February, and cookie sales are at record highs! We start cookie booths this weekend. If you're out of cookies, or haven't seen a Girl Scout yet, come by the 7-11 at Vista Ridge on Saturday between 9 -- noon to help us out! There will be lots of other booths around too. Please support the girls in your area. Thanks!

Ok, I've been bitten by the extreme coupon craze! I've got my binder started and I'm couponing whenever I can. Love SAVING money!

You won't believe how many cookies Addie has sold so far... it's only day 5! And she's already sold 250 boxes! It's no wonder we are having trouble getting more from the cookie cupboard if everyone is selling well! So, don't fret if you haven't gotten your cookies yet... they are coming soon! And if you haven't ordered yet, there is still time! Cookie sales go through the month of February, so if you run out of your first batch, I can hook you up with some new ones! They freeze well too... hint, hint!

January 2012

Ok, so its been a LONG time since I posted on here! Time seems to be slipping away...

Last fall seemed to fly by... working part time for Always Best Care (senior services), selling both Pampered Chef and Avon, plus my craft business with my Mom has kept me incredibly busy! Not to mention running a teenager here and there and all the other household stuff!

It's almost that time again... Girl Scout cookies! They go on sale on Sunday... get ready! This year they are trying something different. When a Girl Scout comes to your door, they will have cookies in hand! No pre-orders... hopefully this will improve sales and you won't have to wait anxiously for your delivery! Something else new (at least in the Denver area) they are going to have credit card readers too. So you can pay for them with a debit or credit card! Wahoo! This year marks the 100th anniversary of Girl Scouts... please support our girls!

Honor roll

Well, cookie season is over... YAY! Addie got some great prizes, and we all have lots of yummy cookies!

It's CSAP time (state testing at school), so Addie has been a little stressed out. The good news is it is half over! Addie just got her report card on Friday. She is on the honor roll and has a 3.714 gpa. Her best one yet! Way to go Addie!

Happy New Year - 2009

Wow, can you believe it's 2009? I can't believe it! We've had such a mild winter so far, near 65 degrees yesterday, that is is hard to believe that it's January!

Christmas as quite eventful... since my parents and Wilhelm's Mom and sister all live around here, we are on the go all the time! Finding time to do presents with the 3 of us, is always a challenge! I think everyone got something they loved tho. Always a good sign!

New Year's Eve was uneventful as usual. Watched the ball fall in NYC on tv at 10:00 pm and went to bed. I'm afraid I'm not a big partier, and neither is Wilhelm! LOL...

Addie is back at school now... just in time to start selling Girl Scout cookies! Anybody want to buy some? Feel free to get in touch...

I'm trying to get my Pampered Chef business back up and rolling... with this economy, it is definitely slow going! Anyone interested in hosting or purchasing, I'm always available!

Almost Christmas...

Ok, so where did the fall go? Last time I was on, it was August! Ok, did I sleep through it or what? Outside it is cold and has been snowing off and on all day. Addie and I have been busy baking cookies and wrapping presents. Addie is so excited for Christmas! I certainly hope she's not disappointed!
